This has everything you want from a good apocalypse-type book. What starts this is a plague, killing 2 out of 3 people world-wide. The main character, Battle, is an awesome retired military man & it’s him against a bunch of bad men. The author slides between past & present in a way that keeps you with the story & just adds more mraning to it. Highly recommend!
