experience ruined because of cliffhanger ending

great job by narrator Jeff Hays as always
really enjoyed the book …..

then ruined the whole experience by ending book with a cliffhanger

I would have happily have bought the next book if it had been ended like the first one, but no had to end it with a cliffhanger.
I wont be spending money on the next book, considering returning this book
because of the authors attempt at forcing me too buy the next to find out what happens
instead of his story speaking for itself
