Dumbing down characters to make a story longer seems to be the nail in every series coffin. I’ve been listening to the whole series then I come to 10 where characters are suddenly stupid and making intentional bad choices is disappointing to say the least. I’ve loved this series, but here we are. The author needs to put his nose in the corner and think about what he’s done to our favorite characters.
