I just love a story with a woman who can take care of herself and does not always require rescue! Ariel was a member of the Air Force back on Earth and has the attitude to back it up. She is fierce, a warrior in her own right, and yet has a gentleness about her that is amazing. She loves and rescues animals; she can’t stand to see them hurt.
Mandra is expecting a weak, weepy, woman when Ariel arrives and is astounded to discover she is his mate and not only that, but she kicks his butt!
This is a very interesting read and the narration is top notch!
I would highly recommend this series to anyone who loves sci-fi, sexy, action filled novels.
