I belong to a LitRPG group on Facebook and people would not shut up about this book. I finally caved and bought it. It’s exceptional. It’s got a great story line, awesome MC (and his cat) and just an overall entertaining listen. The narration makes the whole experience come together. Excellently read and performed. The audio includes different voices and it’s akin to old time radio shows but without cheesy sound effects.
No harem. Lots of gore. Sexual innuendo and cursing. Someone else said it was like PG-15 and I’d have to agree. It’s somewhere between Hunger Games and Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
I am rushing to buy the next books in the series. I can’t get enough!!
