Carrie’s portrayal of Devon as the pragmatic, resourceful and empathetic protagonist is a breath of fresh air in the litRPG genre.
Devon’s approach to solving problems through true leadership and building a community drew me into the story and got me invested in the characters.
Highly recommended for folks who are interested in hearing a story aside from: “mid-20s white guy is awesome and has everything practically handed to him on a silver platter.”
