Here is another example of extraordinary writing. I seem to be locked into this series, as each new book offers another finely tuned plot, well-drawn characters, and easy, natural, clever dialogue. This one is exceptionally moving as the story revolves around a secret of illiteracy and the personal trauma that can bring to a person’s life and interactions with others. The subject is handled with delicacy and poignancy, as are all the personal and social issues dealt with in the Hells’ Ankhor series. It’s very impressive. And, of course, once again, David Allen Vargo provides extraordinary narration in both interpretation/acting as well as vocal quality and tenor. Please keep these books coming.
