i think this is the first time I’ve truly been sad to see the end of a series. this was an all around exceptional book and well worth the purchase. exspansive world building that is well displayed. realistic characters and realistic interactions. various xeno species that each have their own culture and physiology. an incredible magic system. all mixed with wonderful writing style. I look forward to seeing the next installment of the black ocean mythos. so much info about a galaxy, its tech, its magic and cultures but no info dumps. absolutely amazing. well executed narrator was brilliant. good pacing, great audio quality and good vocal range.
