I listened to the book called “The Last of the Doughboys” and was so humbled and challenged and grateful to that book where the author sought out WW1 veterans (who were all at the time around 100+ years old) and when I saw this author had done something similar with WW2 veterans, I knew I had to listen to it and it did not disappoint. I’m going to get a physical copy too and make this book mandatory reading for my boys once they are old enough to appreciate what our veterans have gone through to secure our freedoms in America.
