I would like to see the introduction of a character that rivals Harold in power just for the sake of drama. Harold would likely be pleased with the opportunity to face someone of equal or greater power and would use his mind to overcome any challenges. Harold hasn’t been challenged yet and he really needs to be challenged to keep the narrative interesting. My favorite part of this story is when Harold goes under the ocean to meet another Necromancer under the sea. Once he decides to allow the Limpit to command the armies of the undead the book became somewhat less interesting to me. The addition of the mantis creatures Mem and Ren were great though.
