James and his family are vacationing when a strange event happens. After a meteor shower there is some kind of EMP and tsunami. Society seems to collapse overnight and James and his family struggle to get home. I really enjoyed the story as most apocalyptic stories have these long drawn out conflicts between various groups of survivors. Although there is conflict in this book they’re all resolved relatively quickly which helps hold the listeners attention. The narration was excellent! I would enjoy a sequel with these characters!
