I loved this story the first time I read it, about 7 years ago when I was in high school. I just got the series on audible and am absolutely disappointed with the narrator. I have not finished yet, but as of chapter 4, it seems like very little effort was put in, and it sounds like it’s being read to me by some angsty teenager who would rather be somewhere else. I can’t help but imagine how excellent this audiobook would be if it were read by a man with a Norse or Danish accent.
