Honestly the narrator was what really made me enjoy this book the most – something like an auditory lovechild of Mr Smith from the Matrix and the host of the Twilight Zone. It was love at first monologue.
The biggest plot twist is also quite interesting. It’s not quite as mind-blowing as, say, the 6th Sense, but I appreciated how the author disguised it as comedy relief up until the big reveal.
