Originally I was hesitant to read the book due to a talking axe. The principle just seemed off to me but after so many people saying how good the book is I gave it a shot.
While the beginning is a little slow the book takes off once additional players come into play. The narration and the amount of details expressed in description still left a good amount to be imagined and I felt was the right amount.
Now I hope for book 2 to come out soon
