I liked this and the characters quite a bit. Transitions in time were easy to follow and I thought the plot believable given the background given. I actually would have ranked a 4 star for a eotwawki book except after listening to first, I bought the second. The narrator changes and not only was the voice change jarring, it was super irritating. I tried transitioning by listening longer, and longer cause sometimes that will help you adjust. Then I hit pretty graphic sex. I also found the plot of #2 less cohesive and believable. I planned on purchasing the entire set as I finished each one based on #1. I would still buy #1 knowing I wouldn’t complete the set and want more, but it wouldn’t be worth going on. I will be returning #2.
