Enjoyed this entire series from the first paragraph to the last. In fact, I was glad that it ended the way it did to tie the ending back to the beginning five books ago. I like these authors and I now have a better listening device so I can enjoy Joel Leslie at his best. I’m not giving anything away but I can say that I’ve never been into dragons or creatures much and I’m usually not into epic battles either, but this series had me listening to all of it. The middle books, focused on different MCs, are more like reading an epic suspense novel related somewhat to espionage and individuals involved in that process too. I’m guessing this is what held my interest most, as well as the great imaginative writing. Often entertaining. Highly recommended.
