There is so much to praise about this series. The writing is terrific, the narration outstanding, and the universe vast. There are so many interwoven plot lines that there are new surprises regularly, yet they are not difficult to follow. One thing is certain, as perfectly demonstrated by the ending: don’t EVER think you know exactly what’s going on. That guessing is partly responsible for making the story so engaging.
