Wow, was this long, But very, very entertaining. Absolutely a flashback to the series firefly as the author tells you at the very end of the book. It absolutely also eclipses that series and the fact that it’s much deeper into the character and plot development and obviously a different universe. I’ll look forward for any more books about the black ocean
