I still think that Aurora’s speech pattern feels a lot like debate team speak with there being a lot of words like “thus” and “therefore” but outside of that I really enjoyed this book.
It’s almost equal parts detective and paranormal romance and I love that about this series! I love detective stories… especially with female leads.
I also really enjoy all of the backstory that we get on Aurora. Sometimes authors kind of gloss over introducing you to a character but this author really allows you to get to know the individual characters and I appreciate that. I am only able to connect with characters that I feel like I know.
