I accidentally bought book two instead of book 1, so this review might be a bit off. I didnt have a clue what was going on for the first hour or so of the book and I still thought it was awesome. I get the impression I missed a lot of high school drama in the first book so I have no intention of reading it. My least favorite part of this book/series is the boring drama that occurs outside of the game. Fortunately the LitRPG elements more than make up for that drama. Although the side quests seem more focused on the characters as well.
