Plowed through this one. The author did an excellent job with the plot–weaving past and present day together to tell a suspenseful (albeit scarily apt) tale. There were times where I sat in my car waiting to get to a point where I could actually stop listening. I think two or three years ago I would have thought this plot to be outlandish (still good), but hearing it in today’s political climate made it feel all the more possible. I thought the narrator did an exceptional job. She read the characters consistently and uses enough voices to make each one distinguishable from the others. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good story with a romantic bent.
