I enjoyed these books. Chase Baker is an author, sandhog, and explorer, also a world class smart ass. He takes on jobs to find mythical artifacts and finds that in each case the job is more difficult than he had planned, however he takes it all in stride. The narrator does a wonderful job with Chase and the other characters. I will certainly be interested to see what trouble Chase manages to get into in other books.
