So many reviews panned this book I actually thought of skipping it. I am so glad I didn’t. Jim and Loyyd’s side trip introduced some great new characters and expanded the story of the battle for survival. Great new plot line and back in the valley, great new developments. I enjoyed this book as much as the first couple.
