If you’ve liked the prior audiobooks in the series, you’ll love this one.
Matt Dinniman keeps punching his audience with the “FEELS” knuckle dusters in between intense action and surprising intrigue. The story does well conveying Carl’s struggles to maintain his humanity, confront his current and past actions and save his family and friends from premature obliteration; all while striking back at his enslavers.
Jeff Hays continues to give an excellent performance. Additionally, Sound Booth Theater provides enhancing sound effects without being overbearing.
