Didn’t care for the start of this, lots of low brow humor. Eventually it picks up with the details of the huge army arrayed against a city, an army that must be stopped despite overwhelming odds.

The lead-up has some decent fights and character building for the whole team of characters. Some good ideas in the characters builds.

The big ending is where the book shines. One of the better huge endings in the genre. Soundbooth Theater does a great job.
