Ordinary Men looks at the ordinary men that joined the German Reserve Police Battalion 101 and their activity and actions during WWII. I consider myself a student of German history concerning WWII. Still, I must confess that I had never heard of Reserve Police Battalions and the mass murder and deportations they took against Jews. I was shocked at the horror that Christopher Browning outlined in the book. I found that whole book compelling. I learned a great deal from the book and Christopher Browning’s research for the book. I listened to the text on Audible, and the narration was excellent.
