I’ve always had an interest in forensic sciences, and this book brought three inception of mainstream forensics to life. It had just enough of science explanations to make me feel like I was learning something new; and lots of good old fashioned storytelling that kept me focused from beginning to end. The narrator did an excellent job at bringing the people in the case histories out of the book. I had to remind myself often that the victims were real people, and were really dead and not coming home.

I highly recommend this book, especially if you’re interested in crime, history, and science.
