I loved everything about this – both the story, which made me laugh and cry and squeezed my heart pretty much all the way through, and the performance, which was lovely and well-paced and never once took me out of the story.
I listened to the entire thing in one sitting, during my workday today, and there is not a single thing about it I would change. I love every single character by the end, which is something I can almost never say about a book – and Sam might be one of my favorite characters in any book, ever.
This is a wonderful love story about all different kinds of love, and I will definitely be seeking out more books by this author.
