I fell in love with this series after the first book. The MC isn’t massively overpowered and doesn’t (always) just deus ex machinations through the book. The whole concept of a life and death struggle juxtaposed against being some of the main stars of a multiversal TV show is great. The humor isn’t forced, it’s just great. The system AI is annoying, but then again, it’s supposed to be. Princess Donut is a combo of haughty aristocrat, small child, and cat. Fights are over the top and entertaining and the narrator does a very good job. Highly recommend.
