I have a sibling in a VERY destructive relationship and wanted to get this book for him. Well since hes not what you would call a avid reader i decided to download the audible version before I mailed him a paperback.
I am glad I did. I will not be purchasing the paperback. EVER
If you want to justify leaving any relationship this is the book for you. Everything from insulting someone, consoling someone, or trying to cheer them up makes the other person a manipulator. As for what to do … leave.
I tried stuck with it until the loss of new love in exchange for familiarity became a manipulation akin to starving a rat to death.
Good luck if you purchase this. So I could only take 30 minutes of this and the reader was good.
