I was thankful when I found this latest End of the World Series. It comes from an angle that no post-apocalyptic author has covered, the sea front, shipping, the coast guard, etc. I love the part about the Senator/Representative that escaped; not wanting to tow the party line. There’s several stories, Texas and Fort Box, the senator/representative, inmates/fake police, etc. You will not be bored.
