All of the other boxy books were great because of the intricate world building followed by boxy wrecking it all with his unusual perspective and problem solving. In this book, boxy encounters a problem then whips out some ability or contact the reader has never been told about and now the problem is solved. I kept having to re check that I hadn’t skipped over a book because there was so much “guess what now he can do this.” The character’s motivations were so different than in previous books. Why is this character doing this stuff? No reason. And we just keep getting more loose ends in the plot. On a positive note, the voice acting just keeps getting better.
