The too precious factor goes beyond belief…no not belief… beyond tolerance. Between the narrator’s over commitment to baby and bird voices, a truly vapid plot and an overall misunderstanding of the mechanics and logistics of gay sex, listening to this book was an arduous undertaking. This series went from a mildly titillating mystery series to an uncomfortable exercise of sex scenes practically witnessed by grandparents. While it could seem progressive that gay parents still can have a robust sex life, it all comes off so cheap, and the “mystery” itself is so flimsy. Stick to the earlier books in this once promising series. If you can tolerate the annoying narrator.
