I made it through 3 of the stories. I liked the first one a lot. Esper’s preachiness and willingness to screw over the rest of the crew to satisfy her own conscience became too much for me.
A crew like the one that was described in the first story, the one in which they saved her life, wouldn’t put up with her selfish behavior, as it is is diametrically opposed to their previous arrangement, in which the decisions were made as a group, for the benefit of all.
