Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I’m honestly not sure. The action is good. There’s some seemingly original ideas in terms of super powers. A couple of the characters were genuinely endearing. I just can’t get over the two-faced ideas of morality mixed with a complete lack of consequences all with a heaping helping of plot holes. Don’t even get me started on the completely ambiguous antagonist(s).
Have you listened to any of Jeff Hays’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have not heard Jeff Hays before but his performance was spot on. No issues there. I’m thinking about starting the Delvers series because of him.
Did Super Sales on Super Heroes inspire you to do anything?
