I enjoyed Best Man, It kind of reminded me of another Lily Morton book, Rule Breaker, with the older boss and younger employee, but I liked it much better than Rule Breaker. Zeb wasn’t quite the jerk Gabe, from RB, was, so that was a definite plus. He was stoic and standoffish a bit, and didn’t want to open himself up to someone, but he was very likeable. I loved Jesse, he was such a sweetheart.

This was an easy listen. There wasn’t a lot of back and forth, until the end, but luckily that didn’t last very long. Zeb and Jesse were a good match.

Joel Leslie is always enjoyable. Sometimes when I listen to him I didn’t even realize it’s him, he does such a great job of getting lost in the character.
