An exciting if somewhat short tale of adventurer Chase Baker looking for a lost artifact in the northern woods of Minnesota. Both the Chinese and the Neo-Nazis are also interested in this artifact and have no problem using violence to acquire it. The location called The Pit has its own history as a dangerous place guarded by a mythical creature known as Wendigo. Chase will have to balance his Chinese client with the Neo-Nazis on their tail and the legendary Wendigo in their midst. I liked the book, but it was quite short.
