The reader sounds a lot like Patrick Warburton. I am not familiar enough with him to know if it’s his actual voice or he was trying to capture Warburton’s vocal likeness. It was a little distracting for me at the beginning, but the voice quickly felt like it belonged to the character. The story is kind of original in packaging, but it also borrows heavily from other stories. The style had me wondering if the author was a Douglas Adams fan because it reads a lot like Hitchhikers Guide in overall tone & messaging, in story mechanics and storyline. I find myself smiling when listening and chuckling quite often. It’s a fun read and I’d recommend it.
