If a book doesn’t capture my interest in the first few pages or minutes then I’ll lose all interest. Most books I read are history or non-fiction. It’s not to often that I read (listen) something that’s fiction.
I listened to a large part of this book on a recent trip but was unable to finish it. The next day I bought the book for myself because I wanted to finish the book. It definitely captured my interest. I’m going to look up more books by Steven Bird to buy. I definitely recommend this book.
