Great start to a new series. And you don’t have to read the previous series to know what is going on. I really liked that about this book. Even with the cameos, you knew what was going on without reading the other series.
This is a grumpy / sunshine, with forced proximity, age gap in an office romance.. Troy and Dahlia have worked together for a while and have great chemistry. I liked both characters and the bit of suspense added to the story. These two are great together!
I listened to the audio, and I was a great listen. This was my first book by Connor Brown, and he has a nice voice and portrayed Troy wonderfully.
CJ Bloom will forever be a favorite of mine. She hits those emotions, and you hear it in her voice. I loved her in this story. She did an awesome job.
I look forward to what is to come in this series.
