Coming from The Dread Wyrm and Tower Lord, I was not expecting much, just a good short, inexpensive book between thick books. The story is enjoyable and a great deal lighter than both books. In the ~8.5 hr run time, the story was able to pull me in and I am looking forward to the next book.
