📖 Story comment: The characters are entertaining, the plot was “sweet and fluffy” with a good pace.
What I call an easy listen … nothing too complicated so could listen while doing something without losing track of the story.
I enjoyed Percy and Brandt’s story. It felt lighter than the Hidden Species Series and I hope this series stays along those lines. Brandt’s “family” of dragons are a hoot and I look forward to more of their stories.
🎧 Narrator comment: Joel Leslie is a master voice actor and suits the personalities of these characters. He has good timing, cadence, inflections and intonations, he’s kept the consistency of characters voices throughout the multiple series so it’s easy to distinguish all the characters from each other and he’s done a stellar performance bringing this book to life.
