📖 Story comment: Good pace, likeable characters, interesting plot – good second instalment.
The investigation was well written, I enjoyed the building relationship between Rain and Danny and it kept me engaged from start to finish.
🎧 Narrator comment: Generally I’m not a fan of switching up narrators in a series, and i’m on the fence for the change on this one. Kirt Graves has done a reasonable performance with this book and making the characters his own. He has good timing and inflections, but I would have liked a stronger difference between voices.
