📖 Story comment: Good pace, likeable characters, interesting plot
The investigation was well written with lots of twists and turns – Joey’s character was a bit hit and miss for me though.
I continue to enjoy the building relationship between Rain and Danny and Dakota adds another element of fun.
🎧 Narrator comment: Kirt Graves has done a reasonable performance with this book and captures Rain’s snark perfectly. He has good timing and inflections, but I would have liked a stronger difference between voices – and consistency with characters from the earlier book.
