Pulse by Adriana Locke was a swoony, suspenseful romance that captivated me from start to finish. Dahlia and Troy’s journey to HEA was full of spicy twists and dangerous twists that had me longing for these two to find true happiness finally together.
CJ Bloom and Connor Brown perform this audiobook in dual narration. This was the first time I’d heard these two paired together. CJ shined bright highlighting Dahlia’s inner conflict and passionate persona as she coped with all her family secrets and secret desires for Troy. Connor was a new to me narrator, and I struggled to connect with his portrayal of Troy. While his narrative voice held my attention, his various character voices lacked variety.
Overall, I enjoyed this book. If you are a fan of a romantic suspense story with a guaranteed HEA then you will love this book. I always look forward to more from Adriana Locke.
