This is a dark tale of fallen angels and demons that have roamed this earth for many many years. The MCs in this story are Xai and Evangeline, they are both fallen angels that have had an ongoing love hate relationship. Eve had been accused of a murder and needs to prove her innocence with the help of Xai and other supporting characters.
This is a dual narration however, It’s mostly told in Eve’s POV (with Sarah narrating). Xai (narrator- Tristan) finally speaks late in the story in two of the chapters. I had a harder time getting into this story which is not typical of Lexi’s writings, it was almost a third of the way through before I was engulfed in to this story and did enjoy it. I’m sure you will too.
