Shattered was my first AK MacBride book and the audiobook was an enjoyable listen. I felt like the relationship between Logan and Harper progressed well throughout the storyline but would have loved to see them first meeting as chapter 1 picks up with them already being neighbors. Shattered is a low steam story with an adorable little boy, mild suspense, and some domestic violence. I would have loved more chemistry and build up with Harper and Logan. Eli, Logan’s older brother was a major alpha hole and I’m curious about his story and what made him so angry. Overall, I felt the author did a great job making the characters relatable and would read more of her books.
