I enjoyed the story for the most part. The MC started to seem a little full of himself and arrogant so I found it amusing how they addressed this. Looking forward to the next one.
p.s. I am ALMOST over the way the narrator pronounce some of the Chinese words lol. But am confused as to why in the books they refer to some of the men as “uncle”, but then call the maid “ayi” as if that is her name, when that is not usually the case… a very minor nit pick, but anywhoo
