Based on the engrossing nature of the story, I wanted to give 5 stars. However, the insular hetero use cis gender and body standards seem hard to believe when the story is set in a time in which advanced genetic engineering is possible . ‘Women’ are highly defined by sexual features. ‘Men’ seem overly affected by specific cis gender body definitions.
