This story picks up right where the previous story left off. We follow our hero as he flees from dogged pursuit and continues his adventure into foreign lands. If you liked the first book, you will likely enjoy this one just as much. We meet new characters who have depth and realism. Each having their own imperfections, as we all do. I felt as if they were acting for their own reasons, instead of merely moving on rails like a theme park ride. There’s also layers of plots at play. I would certainly recommend this to LitRPG genre fans. The little cultural easter eggs are fun too. I hope these also continue in the series.

Amazing voice work again by the folks at Soundbooth Theater. As the story moved into a new area, it felt as if Jeff and company were having fun with new accents and speech styles. Top notch as always.
